Feruary 21, 2026
Hotel Xcaret Arte
Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Quick Links

Woohoo!! Pack your bags we’re going to Cancun, Mexico!!

We are so very excited to have you join us for our wedding week[end]. We’ve chosen to stay at the stunning resort, Hotel Xcaret Arte, and we strongly encourage you to stay with us!

To keep things simple for everyone, we’ve hired a groups travel agent - Allison Slater of Tailored Travel Experiences to help all of our guests arrange accommodations. She’s already secured special event group discounted rates for us at this resort.

Hi there! Connor & Caitlin have pre-reserved rooms for you with a special, set group rate for the travel window of February 19-22, 2026.

Guests may extend their stay, pending availability - just include that request in your reservation form if you’d like to extend your stay beyond these dates, or email Allison with your specific date & room request. (allison@ttravelex.com
Please note that the resort requires a 3 night minimum stay for all guests.

If you’ve discussed your travel plans with family and friends, you’re ready to make a deposit and reserve your room! The room deposit of $200 per person is due on August 13, 2025, plus the cost of your chosen insurance plan (optional).

Final room payments are due by September 24, 2025.

Caitlin & Connor are working with me, Allison, of Tailored Travel Experiences to make this trip fun and stress-free for you! Please read all of the important information below before completing the reservation form at the bottom of this page so you can join them for their big day!

Keep an eye out for emails from me after you’ve booked your stay. I’ll be emailing reminders, updates, important travel information, and final travel documents between now and the wedding, all from the email address: allison@ttravelex.com (it’s a good idea to ‘whitelist’ my email address by adding me to your contacts)

We’re SO glad you’re going to join Connor & Caitlinfor their beautiful wedding in Mexico!

All-inclusive resorts are priced per-person, based on how many individuals are booked in a room.

The rates listed below are PER-PERSON and include:
  • Hotel accommodations
  • All-inclusive meal plan, including drinks and alcoholic beverages
  • Access to several Xcaret Parks and activities (see more below)
  • Round-trip, shared ground transportation, in the form of a shuttle, between the destination airport (CUN) and your resort, Hotel Xcaret Arte.
  • Hotel, tax, and gratuities
  • All wedding events & activities

At Hotel Xcaret Arte, they go above and beyond the regular "all-inclusive" resort idea. At Xcaret Arte, it's "All-Fun-Inclusive" and offers these incredible inclusions and amenities:
  • Access to six of Mexico's best parks: XCARET, XEL-HÁ, XPLOR, XENSES, XOXIMILCO, XPLOR FUEGO AND XENOTES (see more below)
  • Xcaret Ferry to Isla Mujeres and Cozumel: your stay includes tickets to board the Xcaret ferries to both Isla Mujeres and Cozumel, two must-see Magical Towns, as well as round trip transportation to the pier in Cancun and the maritime terminal in Playa del Carmen.
  • Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres: Sail to Isla Mujeres aboard a catamaran that also includes a snorkeling tour, premium drinks, box lunch, free time to explore this dreamlike Magical Town, access to Cancun's Scenic Tower, and round rip transportation to the departure pier.

Optional travel insurance is also available to protect your investment. See the insurance FAQ below for more details.

Xcaret Parks are the best 'theme parks' in Mexico, but they're quite different from the typical 'theme park' you're probably picturing. Instead of guys in character costumes and roller coasters, you get to experience the best of Mexico at these gorgeous and unique parks!

Each one has its own theme, and offers so many different experiences and activities, as well as wonderful food and drinks!  You can see the basics of each park below, but I will be sending out more information on the parks after your room is booked, so you will be able to get all the details, plan out the different days of your trip, and ensure you know what to expect at each of these magnificent parks!

Xcaret Park
This park is known for a mix of Mexican and Mayan culture, nature, archeology, amusement, and more!  There are cultural activities such as a Mayan Village, Pre-Hispanic Performances, Horse Exhibition, and more!  For the nature lovers, there's a coral reef aquarium, an aviary, Jaguar Island, sea turtles, underground rivers, and so much more!

Xel-Há
This gorgeous park is known for snorkeling!! There are so many beautiful places to explore and discover, such as the scenic lighthouse, river tour, Ixcehl Grotto and El Dorado Cave, Chacah's garden, a floating bridge, Cenotes, the Queen Conch Sanctuary, and more! Your admission will include mask, snorkel, fins, and towels, as well as several meals, and more!
Note: This park requires reservations in advance, which I can help with closer to your travel time.

Xplor
This park is known for ziplines and adventure!! There are many, many ziplines, amphibious vehicles, underground river rafting and swimming, hammock splash, Tobaganxote, and more!
It's recommended to start with ziplines first, and then do water activities later.
Note: There is no alcohol at this park, and there are certain weight restrictions for many of the activities.

Xplor Fuego
Xplor Fuego is the same park, but at night! There are some changes throughout the day, so there are two very unique experiences. At night, there are different ATV courses and zipline circuits available, a different menu, and typically far fewer people present.

Xenses
This very unique resort is known for playing with your senses, and brings out the kid in anyone!! There are many different activities that play tricks on your senses, such as The Way of Dwarfs and Giants, the Eden, the Labryinth of Underground Arteries, Bird Flight (zip line experience), Xensatorium, The Heartbeat, Slip (a giant, fast water slide!), the Sludgerie, and more!
Note: It's meant to be just a half day parks, so there is only a snack shack, not a full restaurant here. ($)

Xoximilco
This beautiful park is modeled after the real Xoximilco, which is a World Heritage Site in Mexico City. You'll board a colorful gondola and experience Mexican culture, customs, and traditions through music, dance, games, and very unique food, all guided by a host who helps throughout your trip!
Note: You'll want to wear pants and close toed shoes if possible, as well as BUG SPRAY!  Reservations are also required here, and again, I'll be able to help with this closer to your travel date.

Xenotes
You get to visit all  4 types of Cenotes (semi open, open, cave, and dry), including transportation, drinks, fruit, a jungle picnic lunch, towels, and many activities! You can rappel into a cavern cenote, zipline and cliff jump, visit an ancient cenote, kayak, swim, and more inside!
Note: This experience required reservations, which I can help you with closer to travel time.

Good To Know Info about Xcaret Parks
Again, I'll be sending many more details later, but for now, here are some quick tips and 'good to know info' that will help you be prepared for your adventures to Xcaret Parks!
  • Water shoes are a MUST!
  • Each activity within the parks may have different age, height, and weight restrictions for your safety (as well as a few activities that will not allow you to participate if you've been drinking that day)
  • A GoPro or Underwater safe camera on a lanyard are helpful if you want to capture memories (Photo Packages are also availalbe)
  • Some parks provide towels, other parks will require that you bring a towel from the resort
  • You must wear biodegradable / "reef safe" sunscreen and bug spray
  • You'll want to wear a bathing suit and cover up, and bring a change of clothes for when you get wet, dirty, or muddy on your adventures!
  • Bring your own re-fillable water bottle to use at their bottle filling stations around the park.
  • Some of the parks are BIG, and you won't be able to fit everything in one day, for those parks, you'll want to plan your days in advance.
  • Shows and events are scheduled at specific times, so if you want to see those, be sure to plan your day around those times. You can also go to the park, head back to the resort for food, relaxation, and to change, and then come back for the evening shows if you'd like.
  • Some activities, experiences, or meals will come at an extra cost (and are completely optional); these can be booked in advance. Honestly, there's enough included activities to fill multiple days, without paying anything extra. We'll talk more about this soon!
  • There's an Xcaret Parks app that will provide way more information than will fit right here. ;)

Almost - Hotel Xcaret Arte is basically an adults-only resort. It is for 16 +.

Unfortunately, guests 15 and under are not allowed on property.

Minimum stay is 3 nights.
The maximum number of nights with this discounted rate is typically 7 nights, but if you wish to stay longer, just contact me! I’ll be happy to help make your longer stay happen. Kindly note that 8+ night stays, or stays that fall outside of our specific date range of discounted rates will be subject to resort availability and the prevailing rates.

We recommend arriving no later than February 20, 2026 - the day before the wedding. In the case of any travel issues or delays, it would truly stink to miss Caitlin & Connor ’s big day!

As long as you check in at least the day before the wedding, are present for the wedding itself, and hit the 3 night minimum requirement, you’re good to go!

If you wish to come earlier or stay later, that’s no problem at all. Just include your requested dates of stay and chosen room category in an email to me (Allison), and I’ll confirm availability with the resort and let you know!

Just keep in mind that dates outside the room block may have different rates than the group rates listed for our date range below. So if you decide to check in on a date OTHER than February 19, 2026, the rates for your dates might be different than the rates listed for Feb. 19-22 you see below.

Room blocks mean that Connor & Caitlin have paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms on your behalf for your group. They’ve signed a contract with the resort, and they’ve committed to filling a minimum number of rooms.

ONLY rooms booked with Tailored Travel Experiences will count toward this contract and the couple’s group block.

The resort has a minimum 3 night stay within these dates, but you can absolutely come earlier or stay later, as long as there’s resort availability.

We have reserved several different room types or room categories for you to choose from, which you can see below the FAQ.

We recommend two people per room for optimal comfort and pricing, but check out the room descriptions below for more details about how many guests can be accommodated in each room category.

Please note that an all-inclusive stay is quite different from a regular hotel stay, as there is per-person pricing (due to all of the food/beverage, and other amenities that are included in your stay).

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is due by August 13, 2025 for guests staying the February 19-22, 2026.  Note: A larger deposit may be required for guests who wish to extend their stay; this will be determined on a case-by-case basis, and will be communicated to the guest before making a payment. (this is just the way Xcaret Arte works with room blocks)

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable unless you purchase insurance at the time of deposit.

If you do purchase insurance, it will be your responsibility to file a claim and await their decision, should you wish to try for a refund later on. And note that the travel insurance company makes all decisions about claims and refunds; neither Allison nor Tailored Travel Experiences has any say in these decisions.

Yes! When you book your room, your balance will be split into two due dates:
First, your deposit will be due at the time of booking, which must be no later than August 13, 2025.

Later, your Final Balance will be due by September 24, 2025.

While those hard deadlines are in place, you are welcome to make a payment absolutely anytime by visiting this link: https://tailoredtravelexperiences.com/make-a-payment

Please note that late payments may result in late fees or full cancellation of your reservation. Please see the terms and conditions on your invoice for more details.

Caitlin & Connor reserved 45 rooms for the group, but only certain numbers of each category you see below.

In order to get the room category you really want, we suggest making a deposit ASAP!! Once our allotted rooms sell out, we may not be able to secure any more in that category or at this rate. (based on resort availability and prevailing rates).

If you have any specific requests or wishes (certain rooms, specific dates, etc.), we suggest that you make your deposit as soon as possible!

We highly encourage you to stay at this resort with Connor & Caitlin. All wedding activities will take place at this resort, and the whole group will be around for a week[end] of fun!

If you stay elsewhere, you will have to pay for a day pass or wedding pass to visit the resort just for the wedding, starting at $125. Those wedding passes are subject to availability, and we would hate for you to miss out on the wedding! Additionally, some resorts have started implementing a no-outside-guests-for-weddings policy; and it’s possible that our resort will implement such a policy between now and our wedding date.

To play it safe (and have the most fun!), we recommend staying on-site!

Connor & Caitlin already paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group at a special rate, and their contract allows the resort to offer additional benefits for their guests. So they kindly as that you book your hotel stay within our designated group contract here at Tailored Travel Experiences.

There are several reasons why you should honor the couple’s wishes and book the hotel portion of your trip within this group:
  • Caitlin & Connor already worked with me to negotiate a contract for the ENTIRE group, including a special set rate for rooms, and included transportation.
  • Groups are given priority status at the resort, so if you don’t book with us, you might miss out on some great VIP treatment!
  • Groups are also given priority room assignments, so if you book your room directly, you’ll likely be getting a room that couldn’t be sold to a group - more than likely it will be leftover inventory, and probably in an undesirable location, away from everyone else.
  • Groups are given priority at resorts in terms of any oversold situations. So if the resort over-sells, the group will be protected, but an individual reservation outside of the group is not. You could be walked to another location or property in this situation.

Guests who do not book within the group contract unfortunately,:
  • Will not get the group rates
  • Will have to pay up-front, vs. over time with our payment plan
  • Will not receive any pre-departure trip support or post-trip support from me
  • Unfortunately, I cannot assist with travel arrangements made outside of the group, nor can I help in the event of an emergency.
  • May be required to pay a day pass on property to attend wedding events. Note that day passes are extremely limited now in a post-covid, lowered-occupancy world. (and some resorts have rules that wedding guests MUST be booked in the room block, or pay additional fees for wedding events)

Maybe most importantly, booking into Caitlin & Connor's room block means that you’ll help them out! They’ll get some pretty cool wedding perks based on the number of guests that book into this room block only. And we all love Caitlin & Connor, so let’s help them out!

Please book your own flights to Cancun, Mexico (CUN airport). Flights costs are NOT included in the reservation you’ll make here with Tailored Travel Experiences.

We encourage you to use any credit card points, airline miles, or your favorite booking method for flights so you can get the best itinerary and the best deal possible.

Allison will arrange your transportation to and from the airport. Just be sure to add transfers to your reservation, and to submit your flight information via the form provided by or before December 17, 2025.

Included in your room rate is the Round Trip Xcaret Shuttle. This shuttle comes to the Cancun (CUN) Airport approximately every half hour, waits for as many guests as possible to board, and then heads to the Xcaret properties (there are 3, including your resort, Hotel Xcaret Arte).

The Xcaret Shuttle will be shared by whoever else happens to arrive at the airport at a similar time. Also, your shuttle will likely make stops along the way before taking you to Hotel Xcaret Arte to check in.

Your return trip back to the airport for your departure from Mexico will look very similar; the shuttle will wait for everyone to get on at your resort, it may make stops along the way, then it will take you to the Cancun airport.

If you would like to upgrade to private transportation (also known as a "transfer"), there are several options available to you, which you can select inside the reservation form at the bottom of this page.

These private transfer options are typically just for your travel party (the person/people you fly with). But if you are going to arrive at the same time as your friends and want to share a shuttle, that is doable as well. Please just let Allison know which travelers you would like to include in your ground transportation in the "notes" section of the reservation form at the bottom of this page. And then be sure to book your flights together, so that everyone will truly arrive together to be able to use the private transfer.

Please keep in mind that each type of transportation shown lists the maximum number of passengers allowed per vehicle; so please choose a vehicle that can accommodate your travel party.

If you have any questions about these options, feel free to email Allison with any questions or concerns!

Please submit only ONE reservation form and initial deposit per room.
The form will request details for all additional travelers in your room, so they should NOT submit a second reservation request / form for the same room. Please ONLY submit your reservation form when you have ALL roommates’ information and deposit ready to go.

Note: after the initial deposit, you can split up the payments however you want among your roommates. ONLY this first deposit must be paid all at once, with one card. Thanks for helping us out by following these instructions!

Yes! You will need a valid passport book (not a passport card) to travel internationally. You will need your passport to board your flight, pass through customs, and to check-in to the resort.

Every traveler, including infants and children will need a valid passport. (If traveling with children, please see the specific rules for this on the US State Department website.

The US State Department recommends that international travelers have 6 months of validity remaining on their passport after their return trip date.

Please check the validity of your passport NOW! If it will expire soon, please renew your passport ASAP!

It is each guests’s responsibility to understand whether or not they can travel internationally. Please read more about this and apply for or renew your passport HERE.

No! You do NOT have to have a valid passport today to book your room. You can go ahead and submit a reservation form and deposit now, and then work on getting your passport.

Just be sure to submit your name exactly as it will appear on your passport.
Because group reservations at all-inclusive resorts are pre-paid and non-refundable, travel insurance is recommended to protect your investment. After all, life is unpredictable, anything can happen, and plans can change.

The cost of travel insurance is based on the cost of your trip, your age, and state of residency. Due to these different factors, Allison will send you a travel insurance quote along with your invoice once you make your reservation. You must either purchase insurance, or digitally sign the insurance declination form to indicate that you were offered travel insurance and declined.

Without insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change for any reason.

Without insurance, you will also not have any medical coverage for mishaps or catastrophic events.

Note that your US health insurance likely will not work outside of the United States.

Travel insurance is not required, but is strongly recommended. You can read more about it here.
If you’re booking more than one room, please just complete the forms for ONE room at a time. (The form will ask you information about each traveler in that room).

Then go back and repeat the forms for any additional rooms you want to book.

Thank you for your help!

Resort Info & Pricing

Hotel Xcaret Arte

Discover an artisan Mexico, that has captured through generations its history and culture in looms, paintings, clay pieces and symphonies, creating a unique marvel just in front of the Caribbean Sea that fusions a natural and artistic Mexico.
With gorgeous property, relaxing pools, an amazing beach, and access to so many exciting parks, there is something for everyone at Hotel Xcaret Arte.
Note that this resort only accommodates guests aged 16 or older.

Start my reservation

Included in the cost of your room (in the prices you can see above) is a round-trip Xcaret Shuttle from the Cancun (CUN) airport to Hotel Xcaret Arte and back.  Please note that this shuttle arrives at the airport approximately every half-hour, and will wait for all expected Xcaret guests arriving in that window to arrive. Then it will stop at each of the Xcaret properties (there are 3 hotels in total), so your journey may include a little bit of a wait, and a few stops.

If you would prefer to upgrade your ground transportation to a private shuttle (where there will be no wait, no additional passengers outside your travel party, and no additional stops), you may purchase an upgrade at the time of reservation. Just choose the transportation option you would like in the reservation form below, and I will handle all the details for you! Thanks!

Book Your Room

To get a quote or book your room:

All guests will need to complete the reservation form to get a quote.
Roommates should designate ONE person to fill out the form (one form per ROOM, not per person).

To limit multiple quotes, please discuss your travel dates and plans with important friends and family members before submitting a reservation form.

Steps:

1. Gather your information:
  • For each person staying in your room, we will need their full name as it appears (or will appear) on their passport, their date of birth, physical address, and email address
  • Still waiting on your passport? No problem! Just provide the name you used on your application.
2. Completely fill out the form.
  • Just select the number of passengers (people in your room), and the form will adjust and make spaces for everyone.
  • Field marked with an asterisk (*) are REQUIRED.
3. Submit!

Once we receive your form, we will review it and send an invoice for you to approve within 1-2 business days. Look for an email from Allison Slater (allison@ttravelex.com).

Friendly Reminders before submitting your reservation:

  • Double check the name on your passport. Your reservation must match the name on your passport exactly. Please do not provide any nicknames, shortened names, etc. A change fee may apply if your reservation does not match the name on your passport.
  • Make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the return date of travel. Note that passport processing time is currently 8-12 weeks, so you should apply for yours or renew ASAP to ensure you’ve got your passport in-hand well before your travel date.
  • Check with your bank if you are using a debit card, as most banks have a daily charge limit. Please confirm your plans with your bank before submitting a large payment.
  • If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant: Some trips have restrictions for pregnant travelers, and your doctor may have advice about this as well. Please consult your doctor before submitting a reservation form, and consider purchasing travel insurance. If you purchase travel insurance for this reason, be sure to read the coverage information carefully. In some policies, pregnancy is considered a ‘pre-existing condition’ and is not a covered cancellation reason; so you may want to upgrade your insurance policy to “Cancel For Any Reason” coverage.
  • Felonies / DUI / Owe back child support, etc. - if any of these situations apply to you, you may not be able to get a passport, clear immigration, or you may be detained at customs. Please contact your attorney to review the specifics of your case.
