Over the years, I’ve helped several couples plan their dream destination weddings at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. Each one was gorgeous, and somehow, I have never repeated the combination of selected wedding venues across each of my couples!
The wedding venues at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres are absolutely gorgeous, and this list contains some of my favorite all-inclusive resort wedding venues in Mexico!

Sky Wedding Gazebo, Terrace, and Lounge
This is one of my top favorite wedding venues of all the all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. It’s STUNNING! It’s just a floor up from the ground, so it offers a beach front view and vibe, but without the sand in your shoes, or that speedo guy walking right behind your wedding arch.
The Sky Wedding Gazebo at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres can accommodate up to 100 guests for a wedding ceremony, and comes with an additional fee to use this premium venue.
Sky Wedding locations = $1,700
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of this cost is required at the time of booking your locations and wedding date.
The Sky Terrace is a great spot for smaller wedding groups to have a beautiful cocktail hour and reception. It’s maximum capacity is 30 guests for a wedding reception, or up to 120 for a cocktail hour.
If you’ve got a larger group, you’ll want to choose the Sky Lounge instead, as it can hold up to 120 guests for a reception, or up to 200 guests for a cocktail hour.

Piano Bar Terrace
Outside of the piano bar is a beautiful little terrace that overlooks the resort. This is another wonderful spot for a cocktail hour and/or reception, with a maximum capacity of 70 guests.
You can also ask about utilizing the indoor piano bar area for a non-private cocktail hour as well – we did this for my sister-in-law’s wedding. I think they let us stay in the air conditioning during a crazy heat wave! 😉

Beach Gazebo & Beach Area
The beach gazebo is a simple but gorgeous gazebo sitting right on the beach. Yes, the guests’ chairs will be in the sand, but the wedding couple has a paved aisle to walk down. This is wonderful for couples who want a beach ceremony but do not want to have toes in the sand (or heels, or dresses, or anything else! 🙂 )
The Beach Area is nearby, and is an open space on the beach available for cocktail hours and receptions. They can even bring a dance floor outside so you and your guests can party the night away.. On a level surface!
Because these areas are outside on the beach, there is no maximum capacity limit for these events. However, all outdoor events can start at 6:30 pm, and must end by 11, due to noise ordinances in Mexico.
These are great areas if you love the beach, and aren’t too picky about extreme privacy. Yes, your events will be private, and the resort’s wedding team will help ensure that no one enters your events. But as all beaches in Mexico are public, the resort is unfortunately unable to keep random people from walking behind your wedding, or around the perimeter of your reception. If you’ve got a ‘go with the flow’ attitude, this can be a great beach venue for your all-inclusive destination wedding!

Garden Gazebo
This unique wedding venue is right in the center of the action! Outside the main lobby building, you’ll find this special and beautiful structure, where you can say your vows with your friends and family surrounding you.. Literally!
With a surprisingly large capacity of up to 150 guests (their chairs are placed all around the outside of the circle), you can get married atop these lovely steps, just feet away from a fun water feature!
This is a very unique venue, and I was so glad that one of my couples, Candy and Jeremiah took a picture at this venue after their wedding at the Beach Gazebo – check it out!

Beach Bar
The final outdoor venue is the Beach Bar – this bar that’s quiet close to the beach is available for non-private cocktail hours. If you aren’t looking for a super formal cocktail hour, this is a great option for your guests to grab a drink while you and your brand new spouse take gorgeous wedding photos!
Plus, no maximum capacity since it’s outside – score!
Weddings Ballroom
This ballroom is perfect for those who want an air conditioned, indoor reception! (Mexico is HOT, ya’ll!). It’s a beautiful ballroom, not just a standard conference center with divided walls; there are lovely marble floors, a unique light in the middle of the room, and the wedding team can help you customize it quite a bit (adding a dance floor, light-up letters, and more)
My sister-in-law’s wedding reception was here, and it was an absolute blast! We were thrilled to be out of the heat, plus we could sneak outside for a breath of fresh air, catch some of the mariachi going on below, and walk about 30 steps to the nearest bathroom. Honestly, this is a top-tier wedding reception ballroom.
The ballroom’s maximum capacity is 200.

Conference Ballroom
If the Weddings Ballroom isn’t big enough, they’ve still got your back! The Conference ballroom is much bigger, with a maximum capacity of 450 guests. With a group this big, your only options are the beach or this conference ballroom, and you already know how I feel about air conditioning 😉
